It's like 4am now.
And if you're wondering why in the world I'm still up at this very unearthly hour, it's because I cannot sleep FML. I am usually not a light sleeper. I go to sleep and stay asleep till whatever wakes me up wakes me up. But today is not a good day for sleeping grr. I went to bed at 12.30. And woke up at 2, when the air-con timer kicked in and turned off. And I laid in bed for like an hour before I decided that I would wake up and do whatever people who cannot sleep do in the middle of the night.
Like try to upload my pictures to Facebook for example. It gets stuck at the 'waiting for response' part after the green bar goes all the way to the end. (I also have a nagging feeling it's because I don't wait long enough. 'Cause I manage to upload 6 of the photos from the album but I just had to wait a little while before it loaded so I'm giving it another shot.)
It's the Europe pictures! So I'm trying my best to upload them 'cause people want to see them. :D
ANYWAYS, I'm still having a little trouble with the template. My line height is, well, not the height I want it to be. :( It's a bit cramped, huh? Still trying to work it out but nothing seems to work. And I'm getting very boh song looking at my posts. (The only thing I've tried that works is an additional CSS code in the blogpost itself. But isn't there anything I can do to the CSS code of the template itself? Grr.) Help, anyone?
Crap, hungry. But I shall practise restraint and not indulge my growling tummy. For it's enormous girth is disgusting enough. Super unhealthy wth. Sigh.
Will blog about Europe soon! K bye.

Hello all! Missed me?
Anyways, as you can already probably see, I have a new layout! Was getting a bit bored of the old one and it was just about time for a change.
And I'm still making slight changes here and there, especially to the sidebar widgets (my Plurk and Cbox still look a bit weird to me and my link lists are gone). And there is still the post separator (which is still currently just a black solid line LOL). And my header is oh-so-very-interesting.
But do check out the new little things I've added - the spinny word cloud label thing and the disappearing Blogger Navbar. :D
p/s: Do tell me how you like (or dislike) the new skin k? Would love to know.

A Thousand Words
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Have a very very Blessed Christmas everyone.

Hello orang们!
I am officially back. In my own house. In my own bed. Using my own computer. In a house that I can finally feel comfortable in. Coming back home has never been this gratifying.
BTW, Happy 20th Tee Ee! Am so so glad I'm back and you're back. Hehe. Love.
And I have PICTURES! Super a lot of pictures wth. And I'm sorting through them and trying to pick out the ones I want to upload. I now have 200! And I haven't even touched France yet! Sorry I fickle :D
Anyways, I seriously did enjoy myself (even though I'm slowly starting to forget how cold it was, how the snow felt like, and what we really did there. I know. I'm disappointed in myself too.) and I am having a lot of fun narrating my trip there using the pictures I have taken, to anyone who would listen and has the patience to listen to my longwinded story about every other detail I can remember. And I cannot wait to tell my story through peekaboozie.blogspot.com! I should really get a shorter URL wth.
But in the process of picking my photos, I thought that I should really share something that I truly truly believe in. Wait. Nah read.
Photos are an amazing way of documenting moments and memories. But sometimes we get so caught up in capturing the moment that we forget to savour it.
I didn't mean for it to happen but it gets rather ranty after this point so yea.
And yes, it is rather self-explanatory if you do want to read more.

Scheduled
This is a scheduled post.
I told you before that I like bubbles. Did I mention I also like cookies? And the fact that I also like baking them?
And if I can say so myself, I bake up a mean batch of chocolate chip cookies and a whole lotta other stuff too. And I kinda cannot wait for CNY to come along because that only means MORE cookie baking! :D
But the other day I made something else. What do you get when you mix a batch of biscuit dough, roasted almonds and a whole pot of melted chocolate?
You get CHOCOLATE ALMOND STICKS!
I totally forgot about taking vertical pictures at the point where this picture was taken wth. Oh wait. Here's one.
Ta-dah! We rolled the batch in the foreground in the chopped up almonds and therefore almond covered chocolate sticks. The batch in the background was for
Joshua. (He's the little kid I talk about in #7 in the post if you click the link. :D I cringed when I looked at the quality of the pictures. Urgh.) He's allergic to nuts.
Oh, oh, oh, this is going to be random. When we were going home from our neighbour's house, after the cookie baking session, we saw this cloud formation. Pretty, huh? :) Lu also likes clouds. Thus, she very much enjoyed the short before Up, called Partly Cloudy. Watch
it
here. (I didn't pre-watch the videos. No time hehe. But anyways, I suggest the 2nd one (at time of writing it was 2nd so yea).
This. Not sure whether the link still works but anyhoos it doesn't really matter.)
Oh btw, can you find one thing that links all the scheduled posts? (Besides the obvious fact that they are all scheduled posts and written before time and all have pictures of course.) Ah well. K. Bye.

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaack.
Haha. Well not actually. I'm still in Singapore. But fortunately, my cousin has Internet access and he's not around to use it (NS lol). So I've finally obtained permission to use the computer and my bored to death phase can finally be put to rest. Well sort of. Because I have to share too.
But at least I'm now connected. Still out of the loop regarding many many things but at least there's always time when I go back to Malaysia later.
Scheduled posts will go on as usual. As I probably will have nothing much to blog about till I get back. And I also have no Photoshop here. Therefore the pictures will not be up till when I get back. Yes, I am nitpicky that way. (Because I refuse to resize my pictures one by one when I can batch resize at home. Eh a lot of pictures can?) But let me tell you this:
It was an AWESOME trip! :D
Envious, no? Update later. Kthxbai.

This is a scheduled post.
I like bubbles.
The homemade kind where you mix up a batch of bubble solution using washing up liquid and whatnot and blow through a wound-up piece of wire/plastic.
My brother mixed up a batch the other day and we decided to experiment with it. :)
I kinda like this one. :)
(Even though I'd like it a lot better without the brown fence in the bottom left corner grr.)
And the pictures are just examples of how the result turned out. I used flash and it was around 9 (?) at night and we were just blowing bubbles under the pergola on the front yard.
With bubbles, it's very difficult to take a sharp picture as the bubbles are moving erratically. I've had plenty a bubble come at me every once in a while and of all the pictures I took, these are the only ones that are passable. They're not very good (I've yet to master the art of taking pictures of bubbles), but I still have my favourites. But here's one guy that has gotten the technique right to photographing bubbles.
His bubble is awesome. Check out his explanation on DPS
here.
Anyways, it was a good experience and we all had a lot of fun. And my brother's bubble solution wasn't bad - his bubbles lasted for quite long and were able to be blown to a rather large size. And check out the bubble stick - plastic straw with twisty bits of wire. He watches a lot of TV.
I like the colours of this one. :) It had a bit of fence and pergola in it but it was PS-ed out. But it could've been sharper though. Behind it was a bit of light from the street lights and a faraway crane on top of a building. And the reflections from the garden light and my flash. The bubble was at the right place at the right time. :) And it is obviously my favourite from the bunch. The rest are a bit blah. Meh.
